DEO DODA TAKES TOUGH ACTION FOR MCC VIOLATION

District Magistrate Doda,Dr. Sagar D. Doifode, who is also District Election Officer (DEO), today took strict action against the Model Code of Conduct violations.

 

The case of MCC violation was brought to the notice of District Election Authority Doda.Taking serious note of the violations, the Nodal officer MCC ordered a comprehensive inquiry and directed the CEO doda vide No: MCC/Doda/2019/402-05 Dated: 19-03-2109 to furnish a detailed comprehensive report.

 

CEO Doda vide endorsement No. CEO/D/MW/40500-53 dated 20-3-19 issued and order wherein officer’s/officials were directed to submit the reply on the allegations levelled against them within 24 hours.

 

CEO,Doda vide No: CEO/D/MW/40059-61 Dated 20-3-19, in his report submitted that complaint seems baseless and fabricated.

 

But based upon the photographic evidences submitted by the complainant,it has been clearly revealed that Principal HSS Jodhpur is involved in the MCC violation and CEO Doda in his report has misled the higher authorities in the report submitted by him.

 

The DEO, acting promptly, ordered suspension of the Principal HSS Jodhpur and attatched him to the office of Dy. DEO Doda with immediate effect and the salary of CEO doda has been kept withheld for misleading the higher authorities, till the further orders.

 

 Sh Imam Din ADDC Doda has been directed to conduct a detailed enquiry into the matter and to submit a comprehensive report in the office of DEO.

 

The DEO affirmed that utmost impartiality and neutrality will be maintained in dealing with cases of violations of MCC.Further DEO Doda has directed all the officers/ officials not to get involved directly in the politics and also not to allow make use of any government building/ offices for political purposes.
