DDC Doda Paid Surprise Visit to District Hospital At Midnight.

To assess the quality of medical services, punctuality maintained and patient care being provided in the district by health institutions,  District Development Commissioner Dr. Sagar D. Doifode paid a surprise visit to the district hospital doda in the late hours.

 

He inspected emergency, operation theatre, ECG unit, X-ray, ECG,SNCU,CCU,Blood Bank, Gynae and Post Operation ward,Medicine ward, Surgery ward and took stock of the medical facilities being provided to the patients. He also interacted with the patients and inquired about the availability of doctors particularly in late hours,timely diagnostic and about other facilities provided to them in the hospital.

 

Meanwhile Medical superintendent district hospital Doda also joined the DDC and briefed him about the workdone and the recent changes made in the hospital which will be used for functioning of recently sanctioned GMC Doda on the guidelines of MCI and also showed the DDC  newly created wards such as dialysis unit, general surgery ICU,psychiatric ward, dermatology,eye care unit etc,which will be made functional soon.

 

He also informed the DDC that various specialised doctors and paramedic staff, which were recently recruited for GMC Doda also enhanced the quality staff strength which are working day and night in the hospital.

 

DDC showed overall satisfaction in the functioning of hospital and also suggested various measures to the authorities which is still needed to be done to fecilitate the patients and ensured that every possible help will be provided to them to make this hospital conducive and effective place where  hygenic healthcare will be provided properly to the people of district Doda.
