DDC DODA REVIEW CONSTRUCTION OF WATER SPORTS CENTRE AT PULDODA.

To review the progress of ongoing construction of Water Sports centre at Pul Doda DDC Doda Dr. Sagar D. Doifode (IAS) personally visited the site to take a stock of information about the aforementioned project.

During the visit DDC was apprised with various issues which are coming in the way of authorities to complete the task within the stipulated time frame such as illegal settlement, shops, widening of road leading to platform constructed for boats etc.

DDC Doda was informed by the officials that monetary relief among the aggrieved families had been already distributed which were displaced from the location due to submerging of area under river Chenab.

Further DDC directed the CEO BDA and Tehsildar Doda to take up this matter on priority basis and demolish all the illegal structures for which compensation had been already distribursed among the beneficiaries, as this project is going to be the landmark project in the overall development of Doda which will become a tourist destination in the coming future.

Moreover DDC ask people of Pul Doda to extend their full cooperation with the administration to take up the task in peaceful manner, otherwise legal proceedings will be initiated against them.

CEO BDA Dr. Rajendra khajuria,Ex En BDA,Tehsildar Doda,JE’s and other officials of the BDA also accompanied the DDC.
