DEO DODA holds meeting with Zonal and Sectoral Magistrates/Police Officers*

DODA, April 16:

 

To ensure smooth conduct of General Elections in the district, District Election Officer Doda, Dr Sagar D. Doifode today convened a meeting of Zonal,Sectoral Magistrates/Police Officers deployed for the different Polling stations across the district.

 

The DEO, on the occasion stressed for ensuring error-free polling process and asked them to share active coordination between Zonal and Sectoral Magistrates/Police Officers and with polling staff for the smooth conduct of the elections in the district  

 

He further stated that the Magistrates/Police Officers should be well familiar with the location of the polling station, route map, sector, transport and communication plans.

 

DEO Doda,  briefied the participants regarding the start of the poll, time of first vote cast,  besides reporting about any law and order situation asked them to flash reports to his office from time to time.

 

During the meeting Zonal and Sectoral parties of magistrates and police officers for AC Doda,Inderwal,Ramban, Bhaderwah were also matched,their zones and sectors were allocated to them to avoid any communication lag on the poll day.

 

DEO exhorted upon them to work in coordination with each other to make this election successful across the district.

 

SSP Doda, SP operations Doda, ASP Doda and other officers of CRPF and Army were also present in the meeting.
