THREE DAYS TRAINING SCHEDULE FOR WOMEN POLLING STAFF STARTED AT DODA.

DODA,APRIL 13:

 

In connection to ensure the active participation of women’s in the ongoing electoral process of the district for the upcoming parliamentary election,a three days training cum demonstration of EVM-VVPAT has been started here today at DC office,under the supervision of District Election Officer Doda,Dr Sagar D. Doifode.

 

During the training session the Master trainer Fayaz Mehta, ALMT’S Dr Akhter Hussain and Mohd Irfan acquainted the women polling staff about the functioning of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) machines in detail.

 

 The trainers explained about the functioning of Ballot Unit, Control Unit and other allied functions and operations of the electronic voting machines.

 

The Sealing of Control Unit and VVPAT was also shown to participants during the training programme.

 

The ALMT’s further briefed the participants about poll star(an innovative and versatile platform for quick and error free collection of polling statistics).

 

It is pertinent to mention that for the first time DEO Doda has identified two model women polling stations at district headquarters for the upcoming lok sabha election which is scheduled to be held on 18 th of April.

 

ACD Doda Devender Singh Bhau who is Nodal officer Trainings also attended the training.
