*CHILDLINE INDIA FOUNDATION CONDUCTED AWARENESS CAMP AT DODA*

In connection to aware the general public about the working of Childline which is also an NGO working under the aegis of Ministry of Women and Child Development Govt. of India, District Childline office doda,under the supervision of Dr Sagar D Doifode conducted a simple and extensive awareness camp at Govt Girls Hr Sec School Doda.

 

Speaking on the occasion Director Childline Dr Sajad Kraipak higlighted the role and importance of the respective NGO in securing the fundamental rights of children’s of various age groups and also informed about them about the variety of cases which this NGO covers like to provide scholarships for orphans,for specially abled students,cases of child abuse,child labour, children trafficking,drug addiction,corporal punishments in school etc.

 

Moreover it was also informed to the participants that this NGO works for 24×7 and requested them that if they find any caseof the above mentioned category,they can approach to the district office in DC office without any hesitation as well as can also communicate the concerned officials through toll free number 1098, ensuring the secrecy about the informer and the aggrieved.

 

Other officials who were present during the program are Principal Govt Girls Hr Sec School Doda, District Co ordinator Childline, Counsellor Childline and ICPS, besides other officials of the concerned  NGO also attended the camp.
