*District Administration Doda kick started extensive district level initiative in reforming school education under tagline* *ZIMMEDARI: LET’S REFORM OUR SCHOOLS*

With an aspiration to make the present system of education result oriented and to inculcate professional ethics among the teaching faculty across district Doda, Education department under the supervision and guidance of District Development Commissioner Doda (DDC) Dr. Sagar D. Doifode today flagged off a extensive project under which teachers as well as students learning in various schools throughout the district will be taught the modern and innovative techniques of teaching and learning.

 

During the orientation program all the faculty members of schools as well as students will be enlightened with various tools and activities which are the need of  hour in order to revive our conventional way of teaching and learning.

 

Further,  It is pertinent to mention that Vishwagram a team of 45 voulnteers (a Gujarat based NGO) has undertaken the task to transpire  the dream of DDC by chalking out desired reforms in the education system  across the district in collaboration with DIET Doda.

 

The NGO during the orientation program emphasised to inculcate creativity skills among the children like Card painting, paper bag making, Origami (flower), robotics, cap making from news paper, toy making, math kit activities, action songs, games etc.

 

The Vishwagram team will lead this extensive orientation project in all the schools across the district upto 23rd of May.

 

Moreover, for the first time grading of schools will be carried out under the supervision of DDC Doda in the coming weeks, so that special focus can be laid on the least performing schools.

 

Besides, importance will also be given to extra co-curricular activities, beautification of schools, hygienic environment, creation of essential basic minimum facilities like clean toilets, safe drinking water, sports programs, libraries etc.
