DDC Doda distributed Scooties among PWDs

DODA,June 15:

 

District Social Welfare Office Doda today organized a programme for distribution of motorized tricycles among specially-abled beneficiaries here under the scheme of DDRC.

 

On the occasion,10 motorized tricycles were distributed among various specially-abled persons by DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode who distributed Scotties along with keys and documents to the beneficiaries.

 

Among others, the programme was attended by ADDC Doda Imam Din, ADC Doda Kishori Lal Sharma,Tehsil Social Welfare Officer’s, besides beneficiaries and other concerned were present on the occasion.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the DDC said that the distribution of these motorized Scotties is to empower specially-abled persons.

 

He further said that efforts are afoot to provide opportunities and proper facilities to specially-abled persons and children to empower them so that they can realize their dreams and aspirations.He motivated them to avail the benefits entailed under various self employment schemes of Central and State Government.
