*DDC discussed the mechanism for disbursement of revenue compensation for development of panchayats*

In connection to strengthen and speed up the development process in rural areas, DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode today convened the meeting of concerned officials to discuss the modalities of disbursement of revenue compensation(Non partible Shamlat and common land compensation) for development of panchayats in district.
During the meeting a detailed discussion held between DDC and other officers regarding identifying the Modus operandi for transfer of funds to the panchayats and their proper utilisation for initiating development process in the panchayats.
Further it was directed by the DDC to the officials in the meeting to chalk out the works which will be effective in nature and which will be accordingly approved by the committee at district level.
Besides DDC also asked the officers to submit the proposals in his office within the next week for takeover of the school buildings which are either unused or abandoned for functioning of other departments like Anganwadi centres, panchayat ghars,patwaarkhanas,tehsil offices which are working in private buildings.
Other concerned officials present in the meeting are ADDC Doda, ADC Bhaderwah,ACR Doda,ACD Doda, SDM Gandoh and Assar, DPO doda besides other officials of revenue department.
