*DDC Doda reviews the disaster management preparedness in the district* _Also Paid visit to SDRF store_

DODA July 17:

District development commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today reviewed the Disaster Management Preparedness level in the district,besides paid a visit to the district store of SDRF unit Doda.

 

During the visit DDC emphasized on the foolproof readiness,besides the DDC also reviewed the stocking of essential items like Gas cutters,air lifting bags, combination cutter’s,life jackets,camelong,multiwench,victim location camera and other rescue operation equipment available in the concerned department. He sought the requisition lists from the concerned and enjoined upon the officers to keep men and machinery ready to meet any eventuality.

 

Moreover DDC Doda also directed the concerned department to establish a separate hotline number which will be in common control of the administration,police and the respective department, through which people in case of any eventuality can easily contact any of the aforementioned services inorder to get prompt rescue service.

 

Further DDC Doda informed them in the next three days a separate meeting regarding the disaster management plan will be conducted in which all the stakeholders will be called to chalk out the best and possible disaster plan for the district.

 

ADC Doda Kishori Lal Sharma also accompanied the DDC during his visit.
