*Doda Admin starts preparation for I-Day celebrations*

DODA,JULY 22: District Administration Doda today started preparation for Independence Day celebrations.
In this regard,Deputy Commissioner, Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode today discussed the arrangements here at attended by senior functionaries of key departments.
Major issues discussed during the meeting included seating arrangement, finalisation of invitation cards, traffic management, emergency services, decoration, security, sanitation etc.
The preparation for variety cultural programme and parade to be presented on the national day was discussed with Chief Education Officer and District Youth Service & Sports officer Doda.
DYSSO informed the DC that near about 32 parade contigents including schools, paramilitary forces and band troops of various institutions will participate in the national day celebrations.
The DC stressed on adding innovative touch to the celebrations by presenting unique tableaus (Jhankis) and directed at least 10 concerned authorities to participate and display their achievements during the display and also directed other institutions to present cultural items on interesting themes. He also directed for setting up committees to look after arrangements and informed the participants that a detailed review of the preparation will be again conducted in the first week of August.
