*: Mulitple activities conducted under Back to Village Programme in second phase* _DDC Doda,ADDC Doda, Secretariat level Officers, besides PRIs, locals, prominent citizens,womens show exuberance in 59 panchayats of District Doda under Phase -II_

In an ambitious “Back to Village” programme designated Gazetted Officers for 59 Panchyats under Phase -II in district Doda on day two held series of meetings and interaction with members of PRIs , gram sabha members, prominent citizens and locals wherein they sought feedback from them about ongoing development works and listens their grievances.

 

District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode informed that the second phase concluded today in 59 panchayats of district Doda and a good response of villagers was shown who putforth their grievances and realistic feedback to the gazetted officers.

 

He, further stated that multiple activities held like distribution of Job Cards,de silting of khulls,execution of new works under Shramdaan, Swachtta Activities, awareness camps besides holding of meetings with elected ‘panches’ and ‘sarpanches’, hold ‘gram’ (village) and ‘mahila sabhas’ (women assemblies), in addition to other grassroots level interactions.

 

Further during the gram sabhas PM letter was recited in front of the participants by the  Gazetted Officers/Sarpanches which gives much stress on water conservation,besides constitution of social audit team was done in all the panchayats.

 

Moreover DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode since early morning started his tour of visiting panchayats of Ghat and Thathri block wherein the DDC inaugrated two newly constructed link roads,playfields, sanctioned patwarkhaana,inspected school, filtration plant,executed new works like semi pacca path leading towards school, construction of compound wall at Thathri and Ghat block respectively, besides participated in gram sabhas and listened their grievances patiently and ensure them these issues will be solved on priority basis in near future.

 

It is pertinent to mention here Director Agriculture Jammu Sh Pawan Singh Rathore who was the visiting officer in Bhella panchayat of Block Thathri conducted gram sabha,recorded the issues raised by all the sections of the area,inspected govt institutions, inaugrated new projects besides actively participated in Shramdan during his two day visit to the concerned panchayat.

 

Besides ADDC Doda Imam Din also visited some panchayats of Bhalesa and Udhyanpur block wherein he interacted with the locals in gram sabhas, inaugrated Anganwadi centre at Udhyanpur block and also participated in Shramdan activities.

 

DDC Doda further stated that, Officers from concerned line departments are accompanying the designated administrators of these halqas for compiling the reports of recorded grievances as per prescribed performa for onward submission to the concerned quarters-
