*Revised Rates Approved For Essential Commodities In Doda*

On the directions of DDC DODA Dr Sagar D Doifode,today a meeting was convened at district headquarters under the chairmanship of ADC Doda Kishori Lal Sharma regarding the revision of rates of essential commodities in the district.

 

During the meeting a detailed threadbare discussion held between the official members of the district committee and the president of mutton, chicken and milk seller association over the current rates of the essential commodities in the market.

 

Further after the comparative analysis of the rates prevalent in other districts and with the consensus of the members of different associations and keeping in view their genuine demands, revised rates were appproved by the district committee of various commodities like mutton,milk,chicken etc.

 

Moreover it is pertinent to mention here the rates approved for Chicken is being approved for one month only and will be reviewed after upcoming Eid subject to the market situation.

 

Besides, ADC Doda directed all the magistrates and other concerned officials present in the meeting to conduct the regular market inspections inorder to check quality of goods and the undue hikes of commodities done by the retailers and directed to ensure that rate lists which are approved by the committee shall be properly displayed in each shop across the district.

 

The meeting was attended by ADC Bhaderwah,ACR Doda,SDM Assar,Tehsildar Doda,Chilli Pingal,EO Doda, Bhaderwah, Thathri,Food and Safety officer,AD FCS &CA,AD legal Metrology,Dy Director Sheep Husbandary, Poultry Development Officer and other concerned officials of district administration.
