*DDC Doda chairs preparatory meeting for 2nd Phase of Back to Village programme*

DODA, NOVEMBER 19: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode, today chaired a meeting of the District and block development Officers to review the preparations and planning for conducting 2nd phase of Back to Village Programme, to be held in between November 25 and 30 in the district.

 

It was informed that the programme will be conducted in all 237 Panchayat Halqas of the district with dedication and commitment,besides informed the meeting that this time it will be a 3 day visit including two night halts at the respective panchayat by the visiting officer.

 

While reviewing the preparations, the DDC directed the concerned to make the programme a grand success in the district. He said that, as per Ist Phase of the programme, Nodal Officers will be nominated and trained to monitor the activities of Block Coordinators, deputation and replacement of officers.

 

The DDC further said that the booklets will be shared among the concerned officers for stepwise guidelines of the programme. He stressed for establishment of Control Room in DC Office Complex for assistance of field functionaries.  

 

He has directed the BDO’s to expedite the task of completion of all the works taken up under Back to Village program and same shall be inaugrated by all the visiting officer and the next shall be started by the same under the program.

 

He directed the Officers to  provide the list of all projects which are in final phase of completion for inauguration during the training programme to the all the visting officer’s,besides ask them to share the approved 14th FC plan with them that shall be attached with the booklet.The officers of the  Rural development department were asked to collect the information of all the developmental works which were completed after the first phase till now including the projects of district administration as a main highlight of the programme.

 

During the meeting Nodal officers were appointed by DDC Doda to carry out different important tasks like printing of pamphlets, collection of booklets,to provide trainings to the visiting officer’s etc.

 

District Development Commissioner Doda, in his speech, said that the purpose of the programme is to bridge the gap between people and administration and to redress the grievances of the public at grass root level.

 

The meeting was attended by ADC Bhaderwah,ACR,JD Planning,ACD Doda, SDM Assar,Gandoh,DPO Doda besides by the BDO’s of all the blocks.
