*DDC Doda convened meeting to review the preparation of Convergence plan under MGNREGA* _Exhorted upon the officers to work in coordination with each other,for its effective operation_

Doda, August 20:- The District Development commissioner (DDC) Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today at mini meeting hall of DC office Doda, convened a meeting to discuss the district convergence plan under MGNREGA for the financial year 2019-20.

DDC in detail discussed the specifications and focus areas which shall be entertained while formulating the practicable convergence plan for the district in effective manner.

Besides directed the IWMP department to revisit their convergence plan and prepare a comprehensive one in consultation with agriculture, fisheries and irrigation department and also told the authorities to work in coordination with each other and exchange the technical expertise to propose the best convergence plan for the district.

Further,DDC directed the officers to prepare detailed project reports for implementation of convergence plan under MGNREGA.

Moreover, DDC asked for timely preparation of convergence plans under MGNEREGA and proper implementation of the same on the ground for creation of durable assets and providing work to the rural work force at their doorsteps.

The meeting was attended by Joint Director/Chief Planning Officer Doda Parshotam Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Doda Davender Singh Bhau, Project Manager IWMP Doda, CHO, CAO, DSHO, CAHO, DSO, Fisheries Extension Officer,AEE irrigation department, and other District and Sectoral Officers.
