*DDC Doda convenes public darbar at Panchayat Gutasa; assures timely redressal of grievances*

DODA, SEPTEMBER 29: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda Dr. Sagar D. Doifode yesterday chaired a day-long public darbar at Panchayat Gutasa of Bhaderwah Tehsil here as part of the public outreach programme initiated by the district administration to address public issues and grievances.
The public grievance redressal camp was attended by civil society members, senior citizens, PRI representatives and other prominent sections of the society.
On the occasion, various deputations from Panchayat Gutasa and other adjoining areas appraised the DDC about their grievances and demands.
The details of the issues raised during the Darbar were upgradation of school,regulation of prices of essential commodities, requirement of primary level schools in the far flung areas of the area,better communication system, implementation of employment generation schemes for the unemployed girls ,women living in the area, establishment of stiching centre for women’s,metador service for the area, completion of panchayat Ghar,payment of pending liabilities of mgnerega, arrangement of health staff,new phe scheme for the area besides number of issues were also raised by the people.
The DDC gave a patient hearing of the grievances and demands put forth by the deputations during the public darbar and assured that all their genuine demands shall be fulfilled on priority.
He said that administration is committed for the socio-economic welfare of the people and various initiatives have been taken in this regard.
Moreover DDC also informed the participants about the drive against plastic waste which is going on across the country as well as in the district and ask them to extend their coordination with the administration to make our locality free from plastic waste.
DFO Bhaderwah, Tehsildar Bhaderwah,BDO Bhaderwah, AD Planning, heads of line Departments and other concerned officer besides large number of people were also present on the occasion.
