*DDC Doda convenes Public Darbar at Village Mathola (Bhaderwah)*

Bhaderwah, August 16:- With the aim to reach out and redress the grievances of the people living in far flung areas of Bhaderwah at their doorsteps , District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda Dr. Sagar D Doifode, today convened a Public Darbar at Village Mathola of Tehsil Bhaderwah.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Dr. Ravi Kumar Bharti, BDO Phulail Singh, Tehsildar Bhaderwah, Sarpanch and Panches besides various other District and Sectoral Officers were also present in the Darbar.

DDC Doda was given enthusiastic and rousing reception by the people of the area enroute to the venue of Darbar. The District administration was appreciated by the people on the occasion also for proactive redressal of their genuine problems.

Various issues and demands were put forth by the representatives on the occasion which includes Developmental works schemes like MGNREGA, macdamisation of Road, construction of various other link roads, Upgradation of School, Providing of adequate Teaching and Non-teaching staff in various schools, up gradation/ augmentation of existing Water Supply schemes in these areas for adequate drinking water supply, Improvement of electric supply which includes installation of transformers and electric poles, Solar light requirement and other allied equipments, besides these various other issues also came up during the darbar.

DDC Doda gave patient hearing to the demands of the people on the occasion and issued onspot instructions to the concerned officers to mitigate their genuine demands.

Addressing the gathering, DDC said that such camps will be more frequently organized for helping the populace of rural and far off pockets in getting their problems mitigated within shortest possible time.

The DDC assured the newly elected PRI’s that the administration will ensure that all the works under mgnerega and other developmental works shall be entertained only after the approval of the gram Sabha.

Further DDC directed the BDO to release the pending installments of pmay houses of the registered beneficiaries without any fail , besides assured the people of panchayat that Solar lights issue shall be addressed shortly.

DDC also directed the ZEO to demarcate the land of Shankoja school building within 7 days and asked him to report ADC Bhaderwah for demarcation of land at School.

DDC Doda further directed the officers of district administration to work with utmost dedication and sincerity so that the benefits of Govt. schemes percolate down to the society. He further insisted upon the officers to have a people friendly approach in redressing the grievance of the public as well as providing service to the needy at their doorstep without much delay.
