DDC Doda Flagged off fruit growers to Pune (Maharashtra)

Doda, September 16:- In a bid to provide better marketing facilities to the orchardists of District Doda,  District Development Commissioner Doda Dr. Sagar D Doifode alongwith Assistant Commissioner Revenue  Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer today flagged off first consignment of fruit growers to Pune (Maharashtra).

 

Having regard to the fact that the policies and programmes of the government are yielding results and a huge amount of various varieties of fruits are being grown in the district Doda to provide better marketing facilities and to improve the income of the fruit growers.

 

DDC Doda has made efforts to manage dispatch of high quality fruits to major mandis of the country. To begin with first consignment of Delicious Apples has been dispatched to Pune (Maharashtra).

 

DDC has assured the fruit growers that all round efforts will be made by his Administration to provide access to the major mandis of the country to double the income of the growers and improve their quality of life. He assured the growers that they will be provided with all kind of help to improve the quality of their produce. He assured that in future efforts will be made for grading of the fruits to assure better prices in the market. He implored upon the growers to work with zeal and zest to ensure better quality of their produce so that they are able to get better returns.
