*DDC Doda holds series of public Darbar at Chirala and Joda Khurd and listened the grievances of people* _Also laid foundation stone of Tourist Hut at Yarwadal Joda Khurd under Back to Village program_

DDC further laid foundation stone of Tourist Hut at Joda Khurd under Back to Village program to promote and enhance the tourism potential of the area and congratulated the people of Joda for identifying such a unique initiative under the said program which is relevant even for the coming 30 years.

The DDC was on a day long tour to the chirala and Joda Khurd area and was accompanied by BDO Kahara,Chirala, Tehsildar Bhella, Kahara, Ex En PMGSY Thathri besides other District and sectoral officers, Sarpanches, Panches, Senior citizens and scores of people participated.

During the redressal camp, the DDC was apprised of various demands by locals including demand for better road connectivity including blacktop and proper mettaling,requirementof iron electric poles, positing of sufficient staff in the health, revenue and rural development department, assessment to be conducted to the losses caused by the rain to the agriculture and horticulture produce, replacement of rusty iron water pipes with rubber pipes,inclusion of left out beneficiaries under PM-KISSAN, SECC and other CSS schemes,solar lights to be provided on subsidised rates,AWC’s shall be made functional, payment of pending liabilities under Mgnerega, requirement of phc’s and upgradation of the old one’s, requirement of receiving station besides number of demands of community benefit nature were raised during the meetings at both the places by the speakers.

Speaking on the occasion, DDC, Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode assured that the genuine demands of the poor masses will be redressed on priority basis and on spot directions were passed to concerned officers of different line departments for speedy and prompt redressal.

DDC briefed the people of respective places about the Back to Village Programme,said after the successful conduct of the program,the Government has started funding under the said program and plan has been prioritised already and approved accordingly by the district administration.

Besides the directions were passed to officers concerned to start the execution of the work immediately across the district and ensure the completion of the same under the already fixed timeline.

Concerned health authorities was directed to procure all essential medicines and life saving drugs in all health institutions of Chirala and Joda Khurd.

DDC warned the employees to waive of the lack lustre attitude and asked them to perform their legitimate duties without any fail otherwise strict action shall follow against the defaulters.

He enjoined upon Sarpanches and Panches to check the govt offices and attendance of the employees besides asked them to work with full zeal and in tandem for the overall development of their respective Panchayats at grassroots levels.

He directed all the officers of key sectors especially social welfare department to conduct regular awareness camp and educate the farmers/general public about the schemes of their departments and technical know how.

He also stressed the public of the area to take every possible step to save and conserve the water and briefied them about the “Jal Shakti Abhiyan”.

He urged upon the people of Chiralla and Joda Khurd to maintain peace, communal harmony and brotherhood and asked them to unitedly participate in development works.

The public of Chirala and Joda expressed their satisfaction and showered their full praise towards DDC Doda for his ardent endeavor to conduct regular public outreach programme for mitigating the sufferings of rural masses.
