DDC reviews functioning of RDD

DODA, AUGUST 26: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today convened a meeting to review the overall functioning of Rural Development Department (RDD) in the district.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Doda Imam Din, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Doda Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani, Assistant Commissioner Development Doda Davender singh Bhau, District Panchayat Officer, District Planning Education Officer Doda Ayaz Mughal, BDOs and other concerned.

Initiation of works projected during Back to Village programme, progress regarding construction of bunkers, registration of beneficiaries under PMAY scheme, opening of accounts for the panchayat, execution of works under 14th FC were reviewed in the meeting.

Regarding the construction of bunkers by RDD, the block development officers briefed about the physical and financial status.

DDC directed the concerned authorities to speed up the process of estimation. He said in the first phase important works highlighted in ‘Back to Village’ outreach programme shall be taken up for execution.
