*DDC reviews the functioning of MC Doda* _Exhorted upon them to work in coordination,besides ask them to generate resources for the proper working of the institution_

DODA, September 06:To review the functioning of Municipal Committee Doda,
DDC DODA, Dr Sagar D Doifode yesterday convened the meeting of counsellors and Officers/officials in the conference hall of DC office complex.

During the meeting detailed discussion held between DDC and other participants regarding the progress of developmental activities, revenue and financial aspect of the department and implementation of other urban schemes.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Doda Imam Din, CPO Doda,President MC doda along with the Counsellors,EO MC,AD planning,EX En and other officials of urban local bodies.

DDC ask the newly established MC to generate more revenues for the effective working of the institution,besides to keep regular supervision on the taxes which is being collected by the official’s of the concerned department.

DDC expressed his concerns regarding sanitation user charges which are not in tune with registered house holds in the municipality,in this regard DDC deputed NYK’s at the disposal of MC Doda to conduct fresh survey of the households across the MC,besides to verify whether these households have paid the building construction charges or registered within the records of MC doda,for which a format have been deviced by the planning department.

Moreover regarding the cleaning of choked nallahs, a pilot project was started for flushing out the waste from the nallahs of the town.

Further DDC ask the MC Doda to review all the charges/taxes,that will be helpful in carrying out their development activities in an independent manner.
