*District administration fecilitates Drudu panchayat,on being awarded as best performing panchayat in Child friendly category at national level*

District administration Doda today fecilitated Drudu panchayat of Bhaderwah block, besides Sarpanch Ashok kumar for recieving the award, of the best performing panchayat in Child friendly category at national level by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj,on October 23,2019.

 

DC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode was the chief guest on the occasion, besides CO Gref, BDO Bhalla, Tehsildar Bhaderwah, SDPO Bhaderwah, other district and sectoral officer’s of the district administration, Sarpanches of other panchayats and huge gathering of people were present during the program.

 

It is pertinent to mention here that Drudu panchayat is the only panchayat from J&K which was awarded at the national level under the aforementioned category including the other 21 panchayats of the rest of the states across the country.

 

DC Doda while speaking on the occasion congratulated the Sarpanch and all the people of the panchayat for achieving such a great milestone and for setting the example for other panchayats of the district to also carry-on their activities with the same dedication and devotion.

 

He said that this award is given keeping in view that the basic component of social development have been created under a conducive atmosphere for the healthy growth and development of children at grassroot level.

 

Meanwhile various issues regarding the overall development of the panchayat and nearby pachayats were highlighted,for which DC Doda assured the people that every possible help in solving the issues of these areas will be solved with utmost importance and priority.
