DISTRICT POLICE DODA HELD TALENT HUNT PROGRAMME (CHOONA HAI ASMAAN) AT TOWN HALL DODA
Doda, September 30:- Under Civic Action Programme, Doda Police Organized a Talent Hunt Programme (CHOONA HAI ASMAAN) on 27-09-2019, at Town Hall Doda in which various students of various educational institutions of District Doda participated.
Deputy Commissioner Doda Dr. Sagar D. Doifode, IAS accompanied by SSP Doda Shri. Mumtaz Ahmed, JKPS. DC Doda was chief guest of the programme and SSP Doda was guest of honor, welcomed the students who performed and the civilians of the Doda Town and its adjacent areas who witnessed the programme with great enthusiasm and thank them for sparing their valuable time in making the event successful.
The main aim of the programme was to provide opportunities to youth to display their talent and facilitate in preserving and promoting the same and make people especially young generation away from wrongdoing like drug addiction and indulging in criminal activities.
The idea of the programme was to divide the participants into three age groups viz 5-12 years, 13-18 years and 19-25 years. Out of contestants in the age group
1) 5-12 yrs Mohammad Ishan won Ist prize ,Tejasveen Veer 2nd prize and Aishvaraya Anuraj got 3rd prize. 2) In Age group 13-18 yrs, Anuj Sharma won Ist prize, Muskaan Banoo 2nd prize and Mohammad Imran got 3rd prize. 3) In Age group 19-25yrs, Touqir Ali won Ist prize, Anil Kumar 2nd prize and Nair Skinder got 3rd prize. Amount of Rs.5000/- was paid to each contestants as 1st prize, Rs.3000/- to each contestants as 2nd prize & Rs 2000/- to each contestants as 3rd prize.
The programme was organized under the supervision of Dy.SP DAR Doda, Sh Mansoor Ayaz under the overall direction & supervision of Sh. Mumtaz Ahmed JKPS SSP Doda. During the programme, Addl. SP Hqrs Doda Master Popsy, Dy. SP Hqrs Doda Sh. Monaj Kumar, DY SP (Ops) Doda P. N Tikoo, besides various officers of Civil administration and a number of respectable/permanent citizen were also present on the occasion.
