*Div. Com Jammu interacted with the panchayat representatives & farmers* also inaugurated village farm machinery centre at Block Assar (Doda)

DODA, NOVEMBER 21:- Divisional Commissioner Jammu Sh. Sanjeev Verma,on his visit to district Doda  on 20-11-2019, interacted with the panchayat representatives and farmers at Block Headquarter Assar. 

 

DDC Doda Dr. Sagar D. Doifode was also present during the interaction. 

 

Divisional Commissioner Jammu emphasise the importance of primary sectors like, Agriculture and Horticulture etc. and stressed upon the adoption of organise farming and Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) and Directed for providing better Marketing avenues to the farmers.

 

Divisional Commissioner Jammu also inaugurated village farm machinery bank at Assar established during the current year 2019-20 under centrally sponsored scheme (SMAM) by department of Agriculture. 

 

He also visited the farmers fields in village Jatthi of Block Assar and appreciated the efforts of department of Agriculture in dissemination of latest farming techniques and providing services to the farmers at door step.

 

Prominent among those who accompanied the Divisional Commissioner Jammu apart from were Chief Agriculture Officer Doda Sh. Shahid Iqbal,  Sub Div. Agriculture Officer Pranoo Sh. Susheel Rattan Sharma, AEO Assar zone and staff were also present officers allied and other departments were also present on this occasion.
