*KAS probationers visit Doda, interacts with district administration*

DODA, November 01: To know about the field functioning, a group of 22 Kashmir Administrative Services Probationers undergoing training at Jammu and Kashmir Institute of Management and Public Administration (IMPA), today visited Doda and interacted with the officers of district administration in their offices.
Besides an interactive session of KAS probationers also held at DC office under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode.
The group was accompanied by the Asst Course Clerk, J&K IMPA,Parveen Singh.
While addressing the officers, the DC said that the Government and people of the J&K have high expectations from them as they are the future administrators and planners. “Such exposure visits would certainly help them to know deeply about the functioning of the administration”, he added.
He gave a detailed account of some of the important district level initiative’s being carried out in the district under, education sector like Zimedari (Eik Ehsaas) under which for the first time in J&k grading system was introduced for the govt institutions and One day out to know your Government for the young students of the institution’s to understand the functioning of the various govt offices by visiting them.
He also shared with them experiences of his services at various positions.
DC said planning and implementations should be done keeping in view the ground situation of the area. He said development as per the expectations and aspirations of people are important for concrete and sustainable development. He asked them to work with devotion, dedication and professionalism for the uplift of the poor people in the union territory.
Probationers also raised their queries which were replied by the officers.
Earlier, the Probationers visited the GMC Doda to have firsthand account of health management and medical facilities being provided to the patients. They also interacted with the management of the GMC Doda, DPO Doda, SSP Doda, Commercial Tax department and enquired about various management processes.They also visited the newly constructed water sports centre at Pul Doda.
