*DC reviews the availability of essential medicines in the district* _Shows overall satisfaction about ample presence of medicines in the district_

Deputy Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today convened a meeting with the concerned department,to take stock of information about the availability of essential medicines in the district.

 

During the meeting the DC was apprised by the CMO Doda,Dr Mushtaq Ahmed and MO store Regional Drug Ware House Doda(JKMSC), Dr Faheem Ahsan that district has sufficient availability of essential medicines and there is continuous supply of the medicines from the JK Medical Supply Corporation for the district.

 

Moreover it was also apprised to the DC that the district Doda is the only district in the entire chenab region which has 64 treatment and wellness centre under which the essential medicines are available in sufficient quantity to meet up with any exigency.

 

The DC shows overall satisfaction about the ample presence of essential medicines in the district, besides ask the concerned to be in regular touch with the supplying department so that there will be regular supply of the essential medicines to the district and the same shall be distributed to the peripheral institutions at the earliest without any fail, on regular intervals.

 

It is pertinent to mention here that the DC Doda also paid visit to the temporary established Regional Drug ware house Doda(JKMSC) yesterday to physically took stock of the availability of essential medicines in the district.
