*DDC Doda visited snow bound area of Tanta Panchayat,holds public outreach programme at Tanta,listens grievances of the people* _Directs officer’s to give special focus to these far flung areas_

DODA, December 27: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Doda,Dr Sagar D Doifode, yesterday convened a Public Grievance Redressal Camp at Tanta panchayat of Block Kahara for on spot redressal of genuine problems faced by local populace at their doorsteps.
 
The DDC was on a day long tour to far flung area of Tanta and was accompanied by BDO Kahara,Tehsildar Kahara,BMO Thathri, CDPO Thathri, ZEO,AEE PDD,PHE,PWD,PMGSY besides other District and sectoral officers, Sarpanches, Panches, Senior citizens and scores of people participated. 
 
During the redressal camp, the DDC was apprised of various demands by locals including demand for better road connectivity, basic amenities and infrastructural facilities,water supply, electricity in left out villages,food store at Batogra, installation of electric poles, widening and speedy work of kahara Tanta road,non availability of firewood,release of PMAY and Mgnrega installments,speedy completion of Goila Trankal 3km road under first phase, installation of Transformers in identified location of goila panchayat,solar lights for the unelectrified areas of the panchayats Tanta,Batogra and Goila,Lady doctor for the area,PHC and Helipad facility,BUMS doctor for Ayurvedic dispensary, sanctioning of J&K bank and SRTC bus facility from Doda-Tanta,Animal Husbandry Centre, playground for the school children, resumption of Awass plus app for the enrollment of leftout beneficiaries,fair price shop at draman, sanctioning of forest depots, posting of adequate staff in educational institutions,dismal functioning of Allopathic dispensary etc besides many other important issues were raised during the camp by the Sarpanches and Panches of the three panchayats of Goila,Batogra and Tanta. 
 
Speaking on the occasion, DDC, Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode assured that the genuine demands of the poor masses will be redressed on priority basis and on spot directions were passed to concerned officers of different line departments for speedy and prompt redressal.
 
DDC informed the public that from last two months,repeated reviews of PMGSY projects were taken,and now department has excelled their working and he assured them that in the month of April May this Kahara Tanta road will be duly blacktopped for the smooth ply of the commuters and directed the executing agencies to achieve the specified width without any fail by maintaining the quality of the work. 
 
Directions were imparted to BMO Thathri to depute a Doctor for this area who will visit for two days in a week for the health check-up and to issue this order in this regard within 3 days,besides ask him to make allopathic dispensary duly functional and to ensure  that the nurses shall remain present in this dispensary without any fail. 
 
Further PDD authorities,were directed to push the material supply for the earliest electrification of the area,and for identification of land for the installation of recieving station at kahara he has directed the Tehsildar and PDD authorities to submit the proposal of land acquisition within days,so that it can be transferred at earliest for the start of the work.
 
Speaking on the issue of shortage of water supply,he informed them that the directions has already been given to the PHE department to cover the areas under Jal Jeevan Mission-Har Ghar Nal Se Jal,a centre flagship scheme under which a assured tap water facility will be provided to unconnected households and ask the concerned member of PRI’S to include the names of all those people whose household is unconnected to tap water and will be provided the facility under the aforementioned scheme.
 
Moreover he also directed the PWD department to complete the pending work of Goila Trankal 1.5km road within 15 days positively.
 
Regarding Animal Husbandry Centre and Forest depot he directed the planning section to sent the correspondence to the concerned department to take necessary action at their end.
 
DDC warned the employees to waive of the lack lustre attitude and asked them to perform their legitimate duties without any fail otherwise strict action shall follow against the defaulters. 
 
He enjoined upon Sarpanches and Panches to check the govt offices and attendance of the employees besides asked them to work with full zeal and in tandem for the overall development  of their respective Panchayats at  grassroots levels.
 
The public of Tanta,Batogra and Goila Panchayats expressed their satisfaction and showered their full praise towards DDC Doda for his ardent endeavor to conduct regular public outreach programmes for mitigating the sufferings of rural masses.
