*DDC reviews the progress/implementation of various centrally sponsored schemes of PDD sector in Doda* _Seeks timely completion of all the CSS schemes to mitigate the shortage of power supply_

DODA, December 3:
District Development Commissioner,Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode yesterday convened the meeting with both the authorities of executing authorities XEN,Project wing,site engineers of M/S Shalaka infra-tech and M/S Transrail to review their progress under various CSS schemes in the district.

DDC was apprised by the Executive Engineer, Project wing Jammu that as per the scope of various schemes of rural electrification viz DDUGY,PMDP(rural),RGGVY-II 18000 poles are to be erected aginst which 600 have been erected in 20 habitations against 350 habitations and 6000 have been already dumped,312 transformers of different capacities to be installed, installation of 03 recieving stations against which survey of recieving station Gundna stands conducted.

DDC directed the site engineer of M/S Shalaka infra-tech to complete the erection of 6000 poles within one month,besides directs for 100% dumping of material required for the completion of works in these habitations.

He also directed the executing company to furnish the bar chart of each activity within 7 days and also to complete the survey of 2 receiving sations at Changa and Jakyas within 15 days.

While reviewing the progress of urban electrification under IPDS,PMDP(urban),the concerned executing agency informed that 1500 poles are to be erected against which 200 have been erected,38 transformers are to be installed against which 10 are being installed at the required locations, installation of 02 receiving stations of(10MVA) and 14.5 kms cabling  to be laid down in Doda and Bhaderwah against which only 1 km has been laid.

The DDC directed the concerned company M/S Transrail to ensure the dumping of all poles within 15 days,to complete the remaining 13.5 km cabling within two months,besides directs the erection of all poles within 45 days.

Moreover ACR Doda Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani and HQA Daljeet Singh Parihar has been been asked to resolve ROW issue if any in laying of new 33 KV line from khaleni to Doda envisaged under the scheme.

The DDC directed the executing agencies and site engineers of both the construction companies to ensure the completion of all the schemes as per the timelines fixed under each component so that tge shortage of power supply shall be mitigated for the region.
