*DM Doda holds meeting regarding newly created Prosecution Wing* _Directs for expediting the process of establishment_

DODA, December 21:

With an aim to ensure more transparency into the process of delivery of justice and for the proper establishment of newly created prosecution wing at Doda,District Magistrate Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode convened the meeting of the concerned officials here today.

 

It is pertinent to mention here that like in other districts of Jammu division a separate independent prosecution wing, approved by the SAC of erstwhile state of J&K had been set up in Doda district also.

 

Number of issues like non availability of staff, permanent accommodation, transport facility, identification of land etc has been discussed during the meeting.

 

DM Doda informed the concerned that in compliance to the directions of the home department a private building has been already identified by the district administration in the town for the proper running of the department,till the permanent accommodation is identified within the limits of Doda town or in its peripheries.

 

He also informed that directions have been already passed to the concerned Tehsildar for the identification of the land in the adjoining of the Doda town at earliest,so that it can be transferred to the concerned department for it’s effective functioning.

 

Regarding shortage of man power,DM ask the concerned authorities to submit the list of employees required for the smooth conduct of the working of the department within two days so that required staff shall be mobilised accordingly.

 

Regarding transport facility,DM informed them that the issue has been already communicated to the Director Motor Garages for necessary action on their end.

 

The meeting was attended by SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed, Deputy Director Prosecution, Public Prosecutor and by Assistant PP’s.
