_National Road Safety Week-2020_ *MVD DODA conducts rose gifting campaign to embarrass traffic violators, besides felicitated the traffic rule followers with medals*

DODA,JANUARY 14: As a part of the 31st National Road Safety Week,Motor Vehicles Department Doda,under the supervision of DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode, today conducted Crown ceremony/rose gifting to embarrass traffic rule violators, besides felicitated the commuters who follow traffic rules with medals and sensitized the general public about traffic rules near clock tower, Main Chowk Dessa road, and at Pul Doda road.

 

On the occasion,Assistant Regional Transport Officer Doda, Er Kuldeep Singh alongwith DySP traffic Mr Pankaj and other concerned officials stressed upon the necessities of the road safety especially use of helmets or seat belts,no use of  mobile phone while driving or on the road.

 

The team conducted several roadside checks of vehicles, highlighted  the dangers of poorly maintained vehicles besides imparted advice to drivers and general public to follow the traffic rules to avoid any kind of eventuality.

 

Later at bus stand Bhaderwah ASP Bhaderwah in presence of SDPO and Tehsildar Bhaderwah inaugurated a free medical health camp which was organised by the MVD Doda in collaboration with health department for the driver’s and conductor’s besides were also senstised about the road safety week and exhorted upon them to wear seat belts as a safety measure and to follow all traffic rules strictly,to ensure that no more accidents shall happen across the district in future.
