ADC Doda reviews arrangement of Republic Day

 

DODA, JANUARY 16: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Doda Kishori Lal Sharma today convened a meeting to review the arrangements of Republic Day- 2020.

 

The meeting was attended by ASP Doda, CPO, ACD and  District officers of all Line Departments besides executive engineer of PWD, PDD and PHE and Higher Secondary School and other senior officer attended the meeting.

 

The meeting was informed that the main function will be held at Sport Stadium Doda whereas similar functions would be held at all Tehsil headquarters. The function start with the shehnai wadan programme at 7.30 AM in the morning by the District Information Centre Doda

 

It was also given out that contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, Forest Protection Force, NCC Senior and Junior and various Government and Private schools.

 

During the meeting ADC Doda was apprised of the ongoing rehearsals for cultural items and March Past. The arrangements for Drinking water facility, power supply, Parking facility, first aid arrangements, Sanitation, Security, Public Address System, Fore tenders, preparation of tableaus, Seating arrangements besides arrangements of Memento and refreshments were also discussed.

 

ADC Doda gave directions to the concerned officers to maintain cleanliness in and around the venue. He also directed for arrangements of Health facilities and traffic arrangements. 

 

It was also decided that final full dress rehearsal of shall be held on 24th of January 2020, besides screening of cultural items shall be conducted on 18th January by the designated committee.
