*DDC tours snow bound area of Bhaderwah town,reviews snow clearance works,took stock of power and water supply*

DODA, January 09:

District Development Commissioner Doda,Dr Sagar D Doifode yesterday conducted extensive tour of Bhaderwah town to inspect snow clearance works, besides reviewing other essential services.

 

ADC Bhaderwah,Tehsildar Bhaderwah,and other officials of district administration accompanied the DDC during his tour.

 

During the tour,the DDC visited various inner routes of the town, like Teligarh road, hospital road,Sartingal road etc.The DDC was apprised that snow has been cleared from all the inner routes of the town.

 

The District Development Commissioner directed GREF Department to ensure snow clearance on all the roads especially those leading to important installations like hospitals etc.

 

Regarding electricity and water supply, the DDC has been informed that water supply line across the town has been fully restored and process of restoration of electricity is ongoing in the peripheries shall be completed till evening, besides has been restored across the town.

 

Moreover an incident of landslide in the chinote area of ward number 1 had also been brought into the notice of DDC by the locals,in this regard DDC directed the BDO to take up the matter under SDRF with immediate effect.

 

Reviewing the ration supply, traffic movement and other essential services, DDC passed strict instructions to the concerned officers to ensure prompt and hassle free services to the public so that they do not face any inconvenience during snowfall.

 

The DDC also enquired about tourist inflow during this snowy season, directed the concerned authorities to place the required arrangements for the convenience of the coming tourists without any fail.

 

He also informed that a control room 24*7 has been established in the premises of DC office,and individuals can register their grievances by dialling toll free numbers i.e 9906320997 &18001807122 and also directs the concerned to give wide publicity to these numbers in their jurisdiction so that facilities installed shall be availed without any fail.

 

The people of Bhaderwah area,are expressing their satisfaction and also applauds the persistence efforts of DDC Doda, Dr Sagar D. Doifode in providing relief to the general public of snow bound areas during the inclement weather conditions,besides DDC also shows satisfaction about the immediate restoration process being carried by the line departments in these areas.
