*SDM Gandoh handed over cheque of Rs 13 lac,raised as donation towards District Red Cross Society Doda*

DODA, January 11:

Sub Divisional Magistrate Gandoh Pritam Lal Thapa today handed over a cheque of Rs 13lac to the DDC who is also the Chairman of District Red Cross Society,Dr Sagar D Doifode, as donations raised towards District Red Cross Society.

 

It is given out by the SDM  Gandoh,that a drive was initiated and a series of meetings were conducted by the SDM over last three weeks with the officers and employees of different departments, dealer’s and with few local contractors to appeal and motivate them to donate towards  Red Cross and they were also awared that Red Cross funds is used as immediate assistance to very poor people during the time of exegencies.

 

It is for the information of the general public,that to help the sick and suffering people of the society, to the maximum in saving their precious lives, the Red Cross Society, Doda provides financial assistance to those poor patients who are suffering from different ailments specially like Cancer/ Kidney patients in their medical treatment, for their Livelihood and for Educational support on case to case basis as one of the main activity.
