*DDC Doda interacts with BDC Chairman’s* _Urge the Chairman’s to act as bridge between people and administration_

DODA, February 04: District Development Commissioner, Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode today had an interactive session with BDC Chairman’s at Conference Hall of DC office Doda.

 

The interaction was organized by District administration in order to listen the issues pertaining to their respective areas besides to aquaint the Chairman’s with their role and responsibilities.

 

ADC Doda Kishori Lal Sharma,CPO Doda Parshotam Kumar,SP Operations Doda R P Singh,BDC Chairman’s,ACR Doda Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani,AD Planning RDD,besides officials of district administration attended the meeting.

 

During the meeting BDC Chairman’s highlighted issue’s of larger interest like payment of material liability under MGNREGA, implementation of MGNREGA guidelines,reduction in unscheduled cuts, rapairment of old general electric lines,errection of iron poles, augmentation of grid stations, inspection/verification of the completed works of PHE department,conduct of regular awareness camps by horticulture department,good quality fruit plants to be distributed among the beneficiaries, distribution of machinery on subsidised rates, SRTC bus facility to be provided to address the issue of overloading, reduction in flat rates of PDD, people belonging to BPL and Antodaya category may be exempted for paying the bills of PHE and PDD department, restoration of roads damaged due to snowfall, arrangement of adequate staff in PHC’S and schools,to provide new route permits to address the shortage of passenger vehicles, revenue record scanned shall be handed over to the patwaris,tendered PHE works to be started with immediate effect, payment of pending PMAY installments, payment of work’s completed under B2V,Vaccant posts of BDO’S, Tehsildars, Principals, Headmasters to be filled,construction of circular road and bus stand at Thathri,increase in honorarium of Panches,besides other number of important issues were raised by the BDC Chairman’s and DDC Doda listened their issues patiently which were followed by immediate directions.

 

DDC immediately passed on the directions to the CEO Doda to post the teachers in the school’s where the ratio of teachers are less in comparison to the students especially in Hr Sec School Nandna(Thathri)  and action taken report shall be submitted to the DDC office within 2 days.

 

Regarding deployment of doctors to the PHC Kastigarh,DDC directed the CMO Doda to issue a order in this regard with immediate effect.

 

Replying to the issue of shortage of water, DDC ensured that this issue will be resolved under Jal Jeevan Mission, besides informed them that 6 blocks are going to be covered under first phase and rest of the blocks are going to be covered in next phase under this scheme which aims to provide tap water facility to the unconnected households and also asked them to ensure that no one shall be left out.

 

Moreover he informed the participants that from the last few months PMGSY projects under stage one are 90% completed across the district particularly in Doda division and this progress under stage 2 will increased with sufficient percentage, besides ensured them that sufficient procurement has been done by Shalaka and iron poles will replaced the wooden ones soon and old wires will be replaced in the coming times.

 

He also directed the ADC Doda to immediately deploy Girdawars and OQ’s to complete the quality check and binding of the scanned record so that it can be handed over to the concerned patwaris for the convenience of general public.

 

He also directed the CPO Doda to send the communication to the transport department regarding the requirement of SRTC buses with immediate effect besides informed the Chairman’s that adequate number of route permits were already given to the people who have applied so that sufficient vehicles will ply on the roads to address the issue of overloading.

 

Regarding B2V payments DDC said that already payments are done against the works completed and ask them to complete the works in their respective blocks so that payments can be released accordingly.

 

On the occasion, the DDC extend the gratitude to the BDC Chairman’s for highlighting the important issues of the general public and urged them to act as bridge between administration and people.

 

During the session BDC chairpersons put forth other several demands for which the DDC Doda ensured that the demands and issues raised during the meeting will be addressed with utmost priority.
