Doda, February 18: A special District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting held regarding KCC Scheme of Agriculture and other line departments under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Dr Sagar D Doifode here.
The man action points discussed in the meeting include all PM KISSAN beneficiaries be facilitated for issue of kissan credit card to avail the benefit of concessional institutional credit besides Chief Agriculture Officer apprised the DDC about the status of KCC cases with the agriculture department and on the bank level.
CAO informed the DDC that a Simplified Form of one page has been developed for coverage of PM- KISSAN beneficiaries under KCC wherein they have to provide only a copy of the land record document and the crop sown along with the filled up form and approach their bank branch from where they are drawing PM-KISAN benefit, for issue of KCC to them.
DDC advised all banks to organise special camps and provide a separate window for accepting the forms and sanction KCC limit within shortest possible time not exceeding 14 days. All line departments including Agriculture, will facilitate Dissemination of awareness among all PM KISSAN beneficiaries.
DDC stressed for 100 percent coverage of farmers under KCC scheme besides directed concerned to clear all the cases awaiting sanction under KCC by making close coordination with banks and revenue officials.
The bankers were instructed by DDC to adhere to the guidelines to ensure implementation of KCC scheme in letter and spirit across the district as the same is being monitored by the apex level committees on daily basis.
He has directed the Agriculture department to submit all the cases to the banks before 15th of March, besides directed for reconcillation of data pertaining to allied departments with the bank.
While reviewing the pendency of cases at revenue level immediate directions has been passed by the DDC to all the Tehsildars of the district to clear all the pendency regarding KCC at their end for their earliest sanction on the priority basis,beides directed the CAO to certify and correct the data base of PM KISSAN if cases are updated without land holdings.
LDM assured the DDC that all banks will ensure 100 percent acheivement and covered the the KCC cases at an earliest.
At the outset the Lead District Manager welcomed the Chairman and the officers.
Expressing his satisfaction regarding the performances of the banks shown in the quarter end of December in comparison to the last review and especially in priority lending sector under which 61 crore and 61 lakh has been disbursed in agriculture sector,117 crore in micro small medium enterprises,105 crore in housing and 7 crore in other sectors during the last three months,besides LDM informed the DDC that the CD ratio of the district has been increased by 3.08 %in the year under review.
While reviewing the extension of KCC cases of Animal and Sheep husbandry sponsored under DED’s,IDSRR & JKREPG and pending at bank level for sanction,DDC directed the banks to nil this pending figure and directed the departments to verify the pending unit cases and to authenticated by them within 15 days.
