_Central Registration Act_ *Doda administration organises orientation cum training program* _DC directs the registration authorities to ensure zero pendency while conducting registrations_

DODA, FEBRUARY 29: Deputy Commissioner Doda,Dr Sagar D Doifode today chaired two-day orientation programme on implementation of Central Registration Act for revenue officials.
 
Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Rakesh Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani, SDM Gandoh Pritam Lal Thapa,SDM Assar Rishi kumar, Revenue Officers including Tehsildars, Patwaris and other concerned attended the programme.
 
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that the aim of holding the training programme is to familiarize the officers with various aspects of the Central Registration Act for its effective enforcement.
 
He asked the officials of the Revenue Department and other concerned to go through the guidelines of the Registration Act and ensure the accuracy of the documents while conducting registrations.
 
He has directed the concerned authorities to fix the timeline of 15 days to the revenue officials so that the registration done shall be entered in the revenue record under the fixed timeline, besides ask them to evaluate a suitable mechanism to make the registration process online for the convenience of the general public.
 
Earlier ACR Doda informed the DC that from the last three months 404 registrations have been done across the district,deposting the amount of Rs 30 lakh approximately in the district treasuries.
 
On the occasion ACR Doda, SDM Gandoh presented an overview of the Registration Act, related matters and powers & duties of Registering Officers under the Central Registration Act 1908, besides number of queries were raised by the participants which were effectively replied by the resource person’s during the program.
