_Covid-19_ *Doda Administration kickstarted disinfection drive of hospitals,Govt offices and crowded places across the district*

DODA, MARCH 19: 

Under the instructions of District Development Commissioner, Doda,Dr Sagar D Doifode, Municipality Council Doda,health department as a precautionary measure today kickstarted spraying of disinfectants at District Hospital,govt.offices and other crowded places in the town as well as across the district to contain spread of Corona virus.

 

The drive was spearheaded by the District administration under the supervision of DDC Doda alongwith, President MC Doda Ved Prakash Gupta, EO Municipality, PHE and health department.

 

Besides DDC has directed the municipalities to keep all the roads and streets of all the town’s in their respective areas neat and clean so that the outbreak of Coronavirus Infection can be contained effectively.

 

On the occasion,DDC said that disinfectant spray drive will continue at all crowded places, public offices,and other public gathering places of the district, besides directed the sprayers to continue the spray everyday avoiding the damage to the person’s clothes and his/her body. 

 

Meanwhile, the DDC said that municipalities of the district  had already started the fumigation drive at market places and busy roads to prevent the spread of infection.

 

It is pertinent to mention here that ten spray machines alongwith calcium hypochlorite (bleaching powder) were distributed among the MC Doda,MC Bhaderwah,Associated DH Doda, SDM Thathri and Gandoh so that disinfection drive will be carried out across the district in order to tackle the spread of Coronavirus Infection without any fail.
