*DDC Doda takes stock of targets achieved under Capex Budget* _66% expenditure achieved up to Mar-16_

Doda, MARCH- 16: District Development Commissioner (DDC)Doda,Dr Sagar D Doifode today convened a meeting of district and sectoral officers to have a first-hand appraisal of works completed, expenditure incurred and targets achieved under different sectors and schemes, which were taken in hand by various departments and agencies under district Capex outlay for the year 2019-20.

 

During the meeting,DDC said an amount of Rs. 128.78 crore was  approved under district Capex budget for District Doda under state and central components after switching over of J&K as UT.Out of which an amount of Rs. 42.80 crore was made available for expenditure on the works, projects and other welfare schemes in the district through the departments of Education,Health,R&B, PHE, I&FC,ICDS, RDD,  and other departments .

 

The DDC said that an amount of Rs. 28.39 crore has been expended till March-11 on key sectors, thus achieving the target of 66 percent.

 

Taking strong note of the slow pace in achieving the fixed targets, the DDC directed all concerned to make all efforts and achieve the targets within the given timeframe.

 

He urged that remaining work on all incomplete projects currently under execution across the district should be completed before the expiry of current financial year, besides directs all the officer’s to stand-by with the figures of surrender amount and informed that if these figures rises at the end of financial year the respective officer will be responsible and strict action will be initiated against the official.

 

The meeting was also attended by CPO, ACD,PO ICDS,CMO,CEO, Executive Engineers of all streams,AD Planning RDD and DC office and other concerned.
