Various measures have been taken by the District Administration to ensure the safety and security of the people of the district from the menace of the deadly Coronavirus.
In this regard one of the significant move which was taken by the District Administration under the able guidance of DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode is the establishment of the Check Point at the main entry of the district i.e Assar(24×7).
The main objective behind the establishment of the aforementioned Naka is to restrict/properly check every inward movement to the district as it is the main and only entry point to the district.
In this regard District Administration Doda has also deputed sufficient number of staff from Civil,Police and Para military department who are working day and night at the aforementioned location so as to keep strict vigil at every movement coming towards the district.
The clear and loud directions has already been passed on to the deputed staff by the DDC Doda that no entry shall be allowed to the district without proper screening, besides who so ever is going outside and coming towards the district,their entry shall be properly inserted in the movement register,and also directed them to prohibit the movement from designated red zone in letter and spirit.
Further moving forward district administration has also installed a decontamination cum sanitization tunnel at Assar so that every vehicle before entering the district shall be properly sanitized.
The decision of establishing strict entry procedures at Assar Naka by the District Administration has recieved overwhelming response from the general public of the district and also extended gratitude to the district administration for working day and night for the safety and security of the people of the district.
