*DDC Doda inaugurates 2nd Decontamination Cum Sanitization tunnel at Assar (Doda)* _DDC Asked for maintaining strict vigil at entry points,directed not to allow any movement towards district without proper screening,Appeals people to extend coordination with the District Administration_

Doda, April 14:- 

To ensure that each and every vehicle besides every individual who enters District Doda is properly sanitized at the Assar entry point, the only road entry point to Doda and Kishtwar district from Jammu as well as from Kashmir and also outside of J&K, District Development Commissioner Doda Dr. Sagar D Doifode alongwith SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed today inaugurated the 2nd decontamination cum sanitization tunnel at Assar.

 

The DDC, on the occasion expressing satisfaction said that the District Administration is taking various initiatives to contain the spread of Coronavirus in the district.He appealed people to adopt all the requisite guidelines and cooperate with the administration in this regard.

 

The facility has been procured by District Administration and aims at renewing the efforts to combat the spread of the virus.

 

During the visit DDC also verified visitors register maintained at entry point and other screening measures that have been set in place by the District Administration there for combating corona pandemic and directed the deputed officials to ensure stringent screening of the inbound visitors to prevent any eventuality.
