*Decontamination, Sanitization Tunnel installed at AH GMC Doda* _Move aims at scaling up Anti-Corona activities_ (DDC Doda)

DODA, APRIL 11:District Development Commissioner Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode today inaugurated a special Decontamination Sanitization tunnel installed by District Administration in the premises of Associated Hospital of GMC Doda.The facility has been procured by district administration and aims at renewing the efforts to combat the spread of the virus.

 

The tunnel will help in sanitizing the Medical, Para Medical staff,  who works in hospital besides the patients, attendants and other visitor in the hospital  to prevent the spread of corona virus.

 

Speaking on the occasion,DDC,Dr. Sagar D Doifode, said that in the wake of Coronavirus pandemic, installation of disinfectant sprinkler system  to sanitize people entering and exiting the premises has become imperative.He said decontamination or sanitization tunnel will reduce the risk of infection and such novel steps are much needed at this juncture, besides he assured that similar kind of decontamination tunnel will be installed at different identified locations soon.

 

Moreover DDC said that district administration has already initiated various anti-corona initiative’s including fumigation and sanitization drive’s, enforcement of lock down, implementation of related SOP’s so that the people at large are protected from this deadly virus.

 

Principal GMC Doda Dr Tariq Parvez Azad,ACR Doda Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani,CMO Doda Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, Medical Superintendent AH GMC Doda Dr Yaqoob Mir and other officers and officials were present on the occasion.
