_Covid-19 Prevention_ *16 Covid Care(Wellness) Centres,7 Covid Health Care Centres,81 Administrative Quarantine facilities with intake capacity of 4500 have been set up by the District Administration*(DDC) _Said District Administration is well equipped to tackle any exigency_

In order to effectively deal with the Covid-19 cases across the district, Doda Administration under the supervision of DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode have raised the bar, preparations taken to the second level and have accordingly placed next level arrangements across the district to tackle the spread of Coronavirus Infection in effective manner.

 

While Giving details,”DDC said that district administration preparedness has reached to the next level in terms of effective management of Covid-19 threat and has established 7 Covid Health Care Centres,16 Covid Care(Wellness) centres and apart from these 81 Administrative Quarantine facilities including Tehsil level quarantine centres also, have been established across the district with intake capacity of more than 4500″DDC added.

 

Pertinently, the District Administration has established COVID Care Centres and Covid Health Care Centres at different locations in order to increase its capacity to handle COVID cases. COVID Care Centre and Health Care Centre and dedicated Covid-19 hospital is a grade 3 facility where asymptomatic,mild flu like Covid cases and highly risk cases,will be kept separately,DDC added.

 

DDC said that these facilities have been also augmented across the district keeping in view the large number of stranded labourers who have started returning to the district from outside J&K,besides also said that in all these centres particular SOP has been followed and all these next level centre’s are converted into a primary health centres with all the basic health care facilities put in place in them by the District Administration.

 

DDC has said that direction has been already passed to the concerned authorities to prepare the Centre as per established guidelines. He informed that adequate facilities has been made available to the patients with proper provisions of adequate number of oxygen cylinders,ventilators,portable oxygen concentrators, oxygen flowmeters besides other equipment and logistics. 

 “All the necessary equipment has been procured so that our CCCs & CCHCs are made fully functional. 

 

DDC also assured the general public of the district that district administration is making persistence efforts to effectively manage the situation arisen due to the Covid-19 and will leave no stone unturned in it’s fight against the deadly virus.
