*Amid Coronavirus lockdown Various Developmental works of PWD and PMGSY department resumed across the Doda*

The District Administration Doda,in its endeavor to complete the important development projects of public importance in the wake of COVID-19, has resumed a number of development works in the district which will be executed by PWD and PMGSY department.
 
District Development Commissioner, Doda,Dr Sagar D Doifode,said that the department of PWD and PMGSY has commenced important works in different parts of the district which shall be expedited in the coming days.
 
As per the details received from,ExEn PWD, 28 important projects were permitted to start by the DDC Doda out of which 21 works are started accordingly with adequate manpower besides necessary SOP is being followed at the working site in letter and spirit.
 
The details of projects which started by the PWD department are,GMC Ghat Doda, Dhara Shirshi Road Under Languishing,Udhyanpur Rae Sarwala road km 1st under languishing, Teaching hospital Doda,Approach Road to GMC Ghat Doda,Nai Dangri link road,Hamble Dedni Road,Ghat via Nagri Road,Bheli lal Draman Road,Construction of road from National Highway to Shararna via Shaja,Construction & Upgradation of Shiva Allalbani link road Km 6th to 10th,Dhara Shirshi Road Under Languishing, 100 Beeded girls hostel at HSS kastigarh,Saras Gugwa Road etc.
 
Besides PMGSY department also resumed some important road project’s in Doda which includes Gangalwar to Sarsi, Part-II, Stage-I,Doda to Bhagwah (UPgradation),Ganika to Kotli, Stage -II,Marsoo to Charote, Part-II, Stage-I,
Malwana to Jagir, Stage-II, Marsoo to Charote, Part-II, Stage-II,Dallian to Dhumunda, Stage-II,Bhalla to trown, Stage-I & II,Bhalla to Taisana, Stage-I and II,Gatha to Dhalwali, Stage-II.
 
DDC informed that in the wake of COVID-19 lockdown various projects which were ongoing in the district got stalled,So the administration initiated to restart work on several works under different schemes. He said that all the requisite guidelines especially maintaining social distancing and wearing safety gears, are being taken into consideration so as to prevent spread of the pandemic.
