*District administration reaches out to various labourers/residents of Doda district stranded at different locations in Uttrakhand*

Today 100 number of persons/labourers stranded at various locations outside the UT of J&K beside out of District Doda approached Control Room established by District Administration Doda,out of which 90 persons were insisting to return back to their respective areas/homes, for which they were intimated that the decision regarding movement shall be taken by Nodal Officers to be nominated by different states/UTs as per the protocol/ directions issued by MHA GOI on 29/4/2020.

However, for those who requested for ration and other basic facilities, matter was taken up with the concerned authorities  to resolve their issues. Detail of which is as under :-

 

1.As conveyed Ten person’s stranded at District Champawat Uttarakhand,the matter was resolved through Patwari concerned for provision of ration.

 

2.90 stranded persons/Students  from different states/UTs have approached this control room through various numbers, with request/ enquiries regarding their return back home for which everyone was apprised regarding the nomination of Nodal Officers by the Govt of UT of J&K in pursuance to directions issued by MHA GOI and accordingly they are required to take up their respective journey strictly as per the protocol/guidelines issued by the Govt of UT of JK.

 

It is pertinent to mention that till date 6794 people/ stranded labourers approached for provision of the ration and other basic facilities, besides other queries like permission to return back home etc. and grievances were resolved in toto by the District Administration through control room established in the office of CEO BDA at TRC Sarna Bhadarwah in coordination with  authorities of different states/tehsils and/ panchayats.
