*DDC Doda chairs Coordination meet of Nodal officer’s designated for Covid-19 management in the district* _Calls for effective Coordination, Directs to brace up men and machinery to effectively deal with the Covid-19 menace_

Doda, July 13:

District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode, today chaired the meeting of all the Nodal officer’s designated by the district administration for the effective Covid-19 management in the district.

 

During the meeting a detailed report was presented by the District Epidemiologist Umar Anayat khan regarding the number of present Covid-19 positive cases in the district, Number of cases successfully recovered and discharged besides apprised the DDC about the testing being done per lakhs in the district and also highlighted the various important measures which needs to implement strictly across the district to effectively combat the spread of Coronavirus Infection in the district.

 

DDC stressed on to strictly ensure the implementation of compulsory usage of mask’s by the general public across the district besides directed the executing authorities to impose the penalties on the violators without any fail.

 

While reviewing the status of testing being done block Wise in the district, the DDC directed the BMO’s to expedite the testing of the ILI/SARI patients, besides directed them to also conduct the testing of all the symptomatic Person’s identified during the conduct of Swasthya Nidhi screening specifically above the age of 50 yrs and pregnant ladies in the upcoming 15 days.

 

Moreover DDC also constituted 10 teams at the block levels across the district to conduct the contact tracing of all the non traveller cases and directed the district Epidemiologist to submit the report in this regard to the DC office on daily basis.

 

The DDC directed the SDM’s to brace up their men and machinery in their respective jurisdictions and to identify the vulnerable area’s and to start the random sampling, so that the asymptomatic cases if any roaming can be early detected to avoid the Community transmission in letter and spirit.

 

Showing the serious concern regarding the proper implementation of social distancing guidelines, the DDC directed the ADC’s and SDM’s to ensure that the measures of Social distancing are being followed by the general public in their respective jurisdictions and to impose fines on the violators more specifically in crowded places,and along with the highway of Bhaderwah and Thathri.

 

While reviewing the status of number of persons in home quarantine across the district,the concerned Nodal officer’s apprised the DDC that till now 6200 person’s have been put under home quarantine out of which 4443 person’s completed their duration and 1757 are still under observation at their homes.

 

The DDC directed the concerned to ensure that every person put in home quarantine shall strictly follow the restrictions and if anybody doesn’t follow the instructions, they shall be immediately brought up in the notice of the administrationa and strict action will be initiated against the erring one with immediate effect.

 

The DDC also directed the ACR Doda to constitute the teams to conduct the quality review of the quarantine centre’s specifically of the isolation centre’s, besides directed the Nodal officer’s to ensure that the requisite Infrastructure is placed in their quarantine centre’s and to tie up with the ACR in case of any shortcomings with immediate effect.

 

Regarding Installation organisation of Arogya Setu App by the general public DDC asked the ADC to monitor the daily status and to pull up the activity with the Tehsildars as the same is being closely monitored by the Apex level authorities.

 

The DDC also directed the district Epidemiologist to frame the seperate guidelines for the public clinics and ultrasonographic clinics with immediate effect and to ensure testing of the doctors working in the clinic’s after every 15 days.

 

DDC also seeks the further fortification of the Assar Naka and directed the concerned to place more screening counters with additional staff at Assar Naka so that the inward as well as outward movement can be strictly monitored.

 

Moreover DDC also asked the participants while working on the field day and night that they shall also ensure their own well being without any fail besides asking them them not to relax as the upcoming days are going to be crucial and public safety is the top most priority of the district administration.

 

The others who attended the meeting are ADC Doda, Bhaderwah, SP Operations Doda, ASP Bhaderwah, CMO Doda, ACR Doda, SDM’s, MS Associated Hospital GMC Doda, besides Nodal officer’s, Police officer’s and other officials of the district administration.
