*DDC Doda inaugurates ”Manifold Oxygen Pipeline System’ and Conference hall at SDH Bhaderwah* _Said it is a big achievement and will ensure oxygen supply to the 100 beds and better patient care in the health institution_

The District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D. Doifode, inaugurated the first-of-its-kind Oxygen supply Pipeline and Conference Hall at Sub District Hospital Bhaderwah here today. 
 
It has been informed to the DDC, that the “Manifold Oxygen Pipeline System” has been built at a cost of Rs 70 lakh approximately and said that this will not only cater the poor and needy populace from the District Doda but also from the adjoining areas of the district, Block Medical Officer, Bhaderwah added.
 
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC said that the newly established oxygen supply Pipeline will be provided to the 100 bed’s in the hospital and called it a big relief not only for the locals of the District but will also ensure better patient care in the respective hospital as well.
 
“Earlier, the hospital had to brought oxygen cylinders from Jammu and from other sources to give oxygen support to the needy patients but now with this system they can refill the oxygen in these D type cylinders and can ensure regular supply for near about 1 year to the patients who will be in dire need of the oxygen support,” said DDC.
 
“It is a historic day for the people of the district as this oxygen pipeline will not only provide piped oxygen supply at the patients bed but will also ensure Nitrous oxide supply for anesthesia of the patient in the operation theater which will facilitate more surgeries in the upcoming days as well. This facility is established in the district for the first time and will go a long way in enhancing the medicare facilities,” DDC added.
 
Meanwhile DDC also inspected various wards and the operation theatre of the hospital and also enquired about the various arrangements put in place by the hospital authorities for the well being of the patients.
 
The others who are present during the occasion are ADC Bhaderwah Rakesh Kumar, BM0 Bhaderwah Dr Hameed Zargar besides other officials of the hospital.
