*DDC visited Ultrasonography centre’s and clinic’s of the Doda town* _Calls for strict adherence of guidelines, reviews the social distancing measures followed in the centre’s_

In view of the Covid-19 cases being detected among the pregnant women’s of the district, the District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today paid visit to the Ultrasonography centre’s and general medical clinics operational in the Doda town.
During the visit the DDC enquired about the implementation of the necessary guidelines besides also took stock of the sanitization and social distancing measures followed during the operational timings in these centre’s.
DDC strictly directed the concerned quarters to conduct the sanitization of these centre’s on daily basis, besides asking them to ensure that social distancing measures are being followed by the patient’s without any fail.
DDC also asked the concerned not to conduct the medical check-up of those patients who visited these clinic’s without face masks, besides asking them to prohibit unnecessary gatherings in the clinic’s.
He also directed them to enquire the history of the patients specifically of the pregnant women who visited these centres on daily basis and also asked them to sanitise the medical equipment’s being used during the conduct of ultrasonography and in operation theatre’s without any fail, besides asking them to create a separate space for the pregnant women’s coming for USG test’s in these centres.
The DDC informed them that hundreds of people visit these centres on daily basis, thus becomes vulnerable area of concern for which extra cautious approach needs to be taken into consideration to control the transmission of the deadly virus.
The DDC also Informed them that district administration is leaving no stone unturned to curb the spread of Covid-19 virus in the district besides asking them to extend full coordination with the district administration to avoid the transmission of the deadly Coronavirus Infection among the general public.
The other’s who accompanied the DDC during the visit are District Epidemiologist Umar Anayat khan, BMEO Ghat Mashhood Zargar, District Media Coordinator NHM Faizan Tramboo besides officials of the information department.
