*COVID-19: 16 more patients discharged after recovery in Doda so far,* _Tally of Active cases in the district as of now reaches down to 36,with 277 recovered patients_

Doda, August 10:

Sixteen more persons from Doda district who had tested positive for COVID-19 were discharged from GMC Doda and various designated Covid Care Centres today so far.

 

The patients, hailing from different areas were kept under medical observation at GMC Doda and various designated Covid Care Centres and were discharged today after their tests were found negative for the virus repeatedly.

 

In this regard,the tally of active cases in the district reaches down to 36, besides the graph of the recovered patients of Covid-19 has reached to 277 in the district as of now.

 

It is also pertinent to mention here that the recovery rate of the district has also improved, getting better day by day and gone upto 88% approximately in the last 9 days.

 

It has been given out that the process of discharge has been done under the supervision of medical authorities and the person’s were directed to remain in home quarantine for some time as per the set SOP and also as a precautionary measure.

 

Moreover 4 person have been reported positive today,among them 1 was having travel history outside J&K and 3 others who were tested positive today were sampled randomly.

 

The District Administration and Health Department are working relentlessly in the District to contain the spread of COVID-19 under the supervision of DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode. District administration are also advising people to not panic and practice social distancing to curb and prevent the spread of Coronavirus, maintain basic precautions and strictly follow the advisories issued by the Government and District Administration Doda with utmost priority
