*Dr. Jitendra chaired DISHA meeting, reviewed achievements under CSSs in Doda.* _E- inaugurated/ dedicated to the public roads under PMGSY_

Doda, JULY-19:- Union Minister of State, Dr Jitendra Singh, today reviewed the achievements under   Centrally Sponsored Schemes in district Doda here in a meeting of District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) through video conference.       
 
At the outset Union Minister e- inaugurated and dedicated to public Bhella to Parnote road of 6 km length and NH1B to Kandote road of 8 km of length.
 
 The meeting was attended by District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode along with BDC Chairpersons and District officers of all the departments.
 
DDC Doda gave a detailed PowerPoint presentation on financial as well as physical progress under all the Centrally Sponsored Schemes being implemented in the district.
 
 Union Minister reviewed the achievements under Schemes  of PWD, Health and GMC, RDD, Agriculture, PMGAY, Hydraulic, PDD, Education, Horticulture, Social Sector, Employment, Back to Village and languishing projects.
Besides pace of progress on mega projects like Pull Doda- Beoli Road,  Multipurpose indoor hall Govt. Polytechnic Doda, Truck terminal, New Degree colleges including GDC Kilothran and Women College at Doda, Chenani -Sudhmahadev- Khalleni Road, Multi tier bus stand and Auditorium at Doda. 
 
The chair was informed that earth work of Pull Doda to Beoli Road (widening) has been completed and further work is in progress. Work of Multipurpose indoor hall has been completed upto pavilion level. On government polytechnic college Doda 50% work has been completed. On truck terminal 60% work has been completed till date.  On multi tier bus stand and Auditorium the DPR is under process and are at conception stage. Government Medical College building at Ghat is 76% complete also the chair was informed that make shift campus and associated hospital are ready to receive first batch of students. 
 
The chair was also informed that public of District Doda through DDC has conveyed thanks to the authorities for sanctioning of Women College Doda, and GDC Marmat.
 
Further it was informed that proposals for sanctioning of new degree colleges for Jatheli/ Mohalla, Assar, Batyas, Bhalla, and women college Bhaderwah have bee submitted for approval.
It was informed that the land has been identified for all the four Kendriya Vidyalayas, and KV Bhaderwah, KV Gandoh, KV Jodhpur are functioning in temporary accommodation.
 
 
The Union Minister also reviewed the progress of Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme. It was informed that against targeted 20 lacs pages 16.43 lacs pages have been scanned and 1594 musavies have been scaned out of targeted 1679 musavies.
 
During the review of Jal Shakhti department it was informed that there are 86 ongoing schemes under different programmes. 
Under Jal Jevan Mission 109 schemes are taken up which are expected to benefit 2 lac population.
Under irrigation 19 projects were restored effecting 530 hactors of agriculture land.
 
 
The Union Minister formally aapriciated the role of DDC Doda in his efforts in keeping Doda in green zone, making advance arrangements  and involvement of civil societies during the present COVID 19 pendamic. He directed the administration to implement the central schemes and complete the projects in time bound manner. 
 
The BDC Chairperson Ghat, Smt. Shareefa Begum, BDC chairman Gundna, Sh. Sarshad Natnoo and BDC chairman Khalleni, Sh. Manish Kumar also interacted with union Minister and presented their demands. Union Minister directed the administration to concider their demands on priority.
