Independence Day arrangements reviewed in Doda

DODA, AUGUST 11: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Doda, Kishori Lal Sharma today convened a meeting of the officers to review the Independence Day arrangements.

 

The meeting was informed that the National Flag will be hoisted by the Chief Guest followed by March past to be presented by the contingents of JKP, IRP 5th Bn, CRPF 76Bn, Senior NCC, Junior NCC, FPF and SSB.

 

The Additional Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to ensure every possible arrangement to make the function a success.

 

It was also decided that the day shall start with playing of Shenai Vadan by Information Department Doda.

 

Regarding COVID-19, the ADC Doda said that the guidelines and protocol should be followed in letter and spirit and stressed for maintaining social distancing, use of face masks besides sanitation particularly in and around the venue.
